It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert G. Baer of Ottawa, Kansas, born in Pomona, Kansas, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Baer and Lena Baer (Kristenson); his wife Betty Andrews; and his sisters, Grace Browning and Ruth Wieneke.

He is survived by: his children, Andy Baer (Jean) of Ottawa, Kathy Ford (Charles) of Olathe and Julia McReynolds of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Angela Rice of Lawrence, Shanda Baer of Loveland and Ally Ford of Olathe; and his great grandchild Meghan Rice of Lawrence.
