He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Arthur and Ida Iva Hultz (Lowman); his daughters, Debra Bova and Diane Boggs; his siblings, Mildred Ellington, Dean Hultz and Richard Lee Hultz; his grandson Jason Boggs; and his former wife Mary Kreitler.
He is survived by: his pet Spot; his children, Delores Jones (David) of Ottawa, Dorothy Miltner (Myron) of Lawrence, Daniel Hultz (Elaine) of Olathe and Donna Doughty (Tim) of Shawnee, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Nathan Boggs, Melissa Anderson (Erik), Alyson Fuller-Smith (Sam), Cole Fuller (Anna), Sonja Miltner (Tyler), Adam Miltner (Erin), Justin Hultz (Kristin), Ian Doughty and Abby Doughty. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and six nieces.
