She is survived by: her parents, Robert Hemme (Shirley) of Manhattan, KS and Marilyn Smith of Dwight, KS; her husband Richard Colson of Ottawa, KS; her children, Logan Tyler Colson of Ottawa, KS, Reilly James Colson of Ottawa, KS, Colin Patrick Colson of Ottawa, KS and Sophia Grace Colson of Ottawa, KS; her sisters, Reva Nicole Bell (James) of DeSoto, KS and Jessica Hemme (Scott Mulryan) of Dwight, KS; and her stepsiblings, Amber Kruse (Ryan) of Manhattan, KS, Andrea Stone of Omaha, NE and Scott Collins (Brandy) of Eudora, KS..

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Franklin County Cancer Foundation or Prairie Paws Animal Shelter sent c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa, KS 66067.
