He is survived by: his mother Ida Marie Farris (Hird) of Ottawa, KS; his wife Sharon Brown (High); his son Jared Farris; his stepson Michael Brown (Mallory); his granddaughter Olivia; his sister Carolyn Dunn (Brian); his nephews, Preston, Ian and Garrett; his parents-in-law, Garry High of Effingham, KS and Alice Lanter (Ed) of Atchison, KS; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Baker of Effingham, KS, Connie Eckert (Doug) of Atchison, KS, Karen Kearney (Mike) of Cummings, KS, Lisa Coder (Duane) of Effingham, KS and Amber Koontz of Atchison, KS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
