We bid farewell to Kathy M. McCurdy of Ottawa, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 3, 2025 at the age of 88. Kathy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur F. Wiswell and Cecil Wiswell (Deshazer); her sons, Ted McCurdy and Jeff McCurdy; her grandson Chad C. McCurdy; and her siblings, Sammy R. Wiswell, Arthur "Curly" Wiswell, Robert L. "Bob" Wiswell, Pearl Kelly, Rosa Lee Carter, Louise McClintic, Darlene Koehler and Connie Hutton.
She is survived by: her children, Trela Sheffield (Gary), Randy McCurdy (Gwynn) and Janet Lysaught (Mark) of Ottawa, KS; and her siblings, Linda June Bruner and Paul Dean Wiswell. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
