He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Marion, Betty Smith, Glenn and Christine Jones. He is survived by: his mother Vicki Engstrom; his stepfather Daniel of Ottawa, KS; his brothers, Jerry Thornton (Beth) of Ottawa, KS, Jamie Thornton of Ottawa, KS, Shawn Scott of Ottawa, KS and Tyson Scott of Ottawa, KS; his aunt Debbie Hayes; and his uncle James Jones. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home (325 S Hickory St, Ottawa, KS 66067). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hope Anthem Church (520 E 13th St, Ottawa, KS 66067). A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Highland Cemetery (1050 E 15th St, Ottawa, KS 66067).
