He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Miles of Overland Park and Douglas Miles of Ottawa, Kansas; his siblings, Steve Miles of Scottsdale, Patrick Miles of Grand Junction, Colorado and Patsy Miles of Springerville; and his granddaughter Courtney Kraus (Dalen) of Ottawa.
