He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Nichols and Alverta Nichols (Harvey); his wife Diane Nichols; his siblings, Nathan Nichols, Veva Berry, Pansy Nichols and Violet Towne; his grandchildren, Lance Wayne Terrill and Ryley Nichols; and his stepgreat-grandson Michael.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Nichols (Megan) of Colorado Springs, Melita Terrill (Steve) of Seymour, Allen Nichols of Ava and Alvina Lye (Andy) of Ottawa; and his sister Joyce Inman of Fordland. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two step grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and one step great-great grandchild, as well as many special nieces and nephews.
