It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeffry Jay McCurdy of Ottawa, Kansas, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Loren Eugene McCurdy; his brother Ted McCurdy; and his nephew Chad C. McCurdy. He is survived by: his mother Kathy M. McCurdy (Wiswell); his siblings, Trela Sheffield (Gary), Randy McCurdy (Gwynn) and Janet Lysaught (Mark) of Ottawa, KS.; and his nieces and nephews, Amanda McCurdy Pontius, Amie Sheffield Cleverley, Katie Sheffield, Gabe Sheffield, Kathryn McCurdy, Kevin McCurdy and Lauren Lysaught Parker.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fredrikson Chapel at Ottawa University (1001 S Cedar St, Ottawa, KS 66067). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
