With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Harris of Ottawa, Kansas, who passed away on January 10, 2021 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reno Arthur and Mary Maude Maybell (Cox); and her brothers, Jud and Leon Maybell. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Ken" Harris; her children, Scott Harris, Sam Harris (Sheri) and Janet Koch (Don); her grandchildren, Holly Harris-Binder (Patrick), Clint Harris (Rachel), Kelly Nelson (Josh), Cori Oglesby (Nathan) and Kimbra Sapp (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Caleb Oglesby, Ava Oglesby, Jessica Harris, Warren Harris, Amelia Harris, Hudson Sapp and Sloane Sapp. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.

Following Covid-19 guidelines, graveside funeral services to honor her life and her 100th birthday will be 1:00 p. m., Friday, January 29, 2021, at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, KS.

“So sorry to hear about the passing of one of my favorite aunts. I still remember back in 1983 Aunt Jane coming to my softball games on a very hot weekend in Ottawa. Many times my parents told my brother, sister and I we were headed to Ottawa to visit Aunt Jane and Uncle Ken I knew it would be a great visit. Aunt Jane was my last Aunt on the Maybell side.
