James H. Coombes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Coombes of Ottawa, Kansas, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. Coombes and Mary E. Coombes (Hawkins); his former wife Marjorie Jane "Marge" Hughes; his wife Janice Marie Welch; his stepfather Perry Franks; his children, Leonard Bickerstaff and Debra Chambell; and his grandson Casey Lloyd.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Garrison of Wichita, John Bickerstaff of Willis, Lonnie Schultz of Pomona, Jay Coombes (Sonja) of Lenexa, Vicki L. Lloyd (Guss) of Claremore and Becki Teter of Garnett. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
