Hazel Marie Guyett Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Marie Guyett of Ottawa, Kansas, born in Rantoul, Kansas, who passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mothers, Marion Albert and Rozella Hope Schmoe (McCann); her husband Herbert F. "Herb" Guyett; her son Mike Guyett; her siblings, Homer Schmoe, Floyd Schmoe, Dorothy Gilpin, Donnie Nichols, Gladys Butter, Myrtle Bones, Mollie Lee and Jean Jones; her grandson Damon Guyett; and her great grandchild Jessica Guyett.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Guyett of Missouri, Trinity Guyett (Shawna) of Kentucky, Cathy Bien (David) of Ottawa, Lynda Topp (Mike) of Richmond and Scarlett Guyett of Louisiana; and her siblings, George Schmoe of Ottawa, Merlin Schmoe of Baldwin City, Dale Schmoe of Ottawa, Virgie Sink of Ottawa, Jeanette Milbern of Richmond and Audra Detwiler of Richmond, Kansas. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
