It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenna Lu Whitacre of Ottawa, Kansas, born in Rantoul, Kansas, who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred H. Meador and Leola Meador (Kinder); and her brother Charles Meador. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Whitacre (Vicki) of Ottawa, Keith Whitacre of Ottawa and Virginia Howe (Paul) of Overland Park; and her grandchildren, Brandon Whitacre (Stephanie) of Olathe, Brodi Gallick (Blake) of Aptos, Kyle Whitacre of Galena, Derrek Whitacre of Galena, Sydney Howe of Overland Park and Holly Howe of Overland Park. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
