He was predeceased by: his parents, Denver Mathers and Marie Mathers (Haddox); and his siblings, Paul Lee Ahart and Sharon Carter. He is survived by: his children, Phil Ahart (Dannielle Grimes), Shawn Ahart (Darcie) of Ottawa, KS and Jennifer Blanton of Ottawa, KS; his siblings, Sherrie Jones of Mesa, AZ and Rex Allen Ahart of Tempe, AZ; and his grandchildren, Brandon Ahart, Nichole Engelhardt, Lori Setliff, Alan Ahart, Austin Ahart, Damien Ahart, Kristina Ahart, Mikaela Honn, Carter Hegwald, Keaton Hegwald, Mackenzie Hegwald, Kaylin Gragg, Wade Gragg, Bryce Nabus, Kaiden Nelson and Sabrina Kasper. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (1050 E 15th St, Ottawa, KS 66067).
