She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Brown and Mildred Brown (Mathias); her spouse Gail Montgomery; her son Daniel Dean Montgomery; her sister Carolyn Brown; and her parents-in-law, Eula Montgomery and John Montgomery.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gayle Marie Banks (Don) and Lea Ann Johnson; her grandsons, Adam Banks (Kristin), Paul Banks (Kara), Joshua Johnson (Tracy) and Tyler Johnson (Byllie); her great grandchildren, Trenton, Jaylee, Carter, Briley, Finley, Charlie, Andy, Miriam, Xavier and Evander; her siblings, Eldon Brown (Beverly), Ruby Murrow (Elton) and Dorothy Sobba; her siblings-in-law, Kenny Montgomery (Leota), Beth Hotaling (Jim), Linda Flethcher (Skip) and Sandy Moore (Jim); and her aunt Vada Cartmill. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dengel & Son Mortuary - Crematory (235 S Hickory St, Ottawa, KS 66067). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ruhamah Cemetery (4190 Jackson Rd, Rantoul, KS 66079).
