With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Jane Detwiler of Ottawa, Kansas, who passed away on September 2, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Hume and Maude Hume (De Vilbiss); her siblings, Mildred Gibson and Joe Hume; and her son Peter Berton Detwiler.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Carter (Del) of Balsam Lake, Nancy Johnson of Ottawa, Liza Perry (Milton) of Princeton and Kit Detwiler of Lyndon. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one great- great granddaughter.
