He was predeceased by: his parents, W. T. Shutt and Stella Shutt (Goodvin); his wife Lynn Kay Shutt; and his siblings, Nina Vandermotten, Larrel and Gordon Shutt.
He is survived by: his children, Gayla Proctor (Ted Wilson) of Ottawa, KS, Mark Shutt (Lina) of Ottawa, KS, Doug Shutt (Rhonda) of Houston, TX and Greg Shutt of Ottawa, KS; and his grandchildren, Chris, Lyndsey, Robby, Justin, Leslie, Jessica, Joshua, Joel, Matthew and David. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
