He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Laura P. O'Hara (Moore); his daughters, Janet, LaNita Nelson and Karon London; and his siblings, Raymond, Jack O'Hara, Dorothy Ward, Nona Guey, Sheila Light, Ardis Lee and Pauline Lasswell.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Little; his son Larry O'Hara (Brenda) of Topeka; his sister Mildred Davis of Dallas, Oregon; and his grandchildren, Jon-Wesley O'Hara (Edina) of Michigan Valley, Nicholas O'Hara (Jessica) of Hoyt, Sarah Petty (Matt) of Hoyt, Tasha Kneller of Ottawa, Karmin London of Weableau and Ron Nelson (Mike) of Olathe. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
