She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Marie Pennington (Boslaugh) and Earl Pennington; her grandparents, Guy and Esther Boslaugh; her daughter Marsha Kay Kern; and her grandsons, Michael William Clissold (Willie), Pless Pennington and Otto Moeller.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Erick W. Kern (Brenda) and Melissa M. Clissold (Michael); her sister Judy Pennington; her granddaughters, Ericka Hughes (Taylor) and Mychaela Garrett (Denzel); her stepgranddaughter Lilly Davis; her grandsons, Seth Kern (Becca) and Jason Clissold; her stepgrandson Brad Davis; her nephew Kenneth Sobba (Kathy); and her niece Terrie Titus (Rick).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (410 S Hickory St, Ottawa, KS 66067). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
