He was predeceased by: his parents, Len John Shepherd and Dorothy Mae Shepherd (Powers); his wife Roberta Faye Reed; and his brothers, Len John Jr. and Ralph Shepherd (Roberta).
He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Sue Heins (Dan) of Pomona, Terri Hower of Pomona, Carolyn Shepherd of Pomona and Betty Greer of Pomona; his brother Gerald Shepherd of Pomona; and his grandchildren, Danielle Watts (Tyler), Melissa Walker (Josh), Corey Hower (Cheryl), Zach Brown (Bridget), Gene Greer (Kayla) and Heather Hendershot (Cody). He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
