He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnel D. Horne and Hattie L. Horne (Mietchen); and his brothers, Gary Horne and Arnel "Gene" Horne. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Underwood; his children, Nancy Mitchell (Randy) of Schofield, Deb Horne of Ottawa, Tim Horne (Angie) of Baldwin City and Steve Horne of Ottawa; his sisters, Janice Thomas of Ottawa and Terry McFadden (Gail) of Lawrence; and his grandchildren, Ivan Mitchell (Leslie), Scott Mitchell, Ashley Mitchell, Kaleb Horne (Clare), Ethan Horne (Myriah Pippert) and Colton Horne (Hannah). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
