He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hoffman and Della Hoffman (Scowden); his sister Leota Mae; his parents-in-law, John and Dorothy Jacobs; his son Terry Hoffman; and his granddaughter Hope Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jacobs; his daughters, Diane Cunningham (Philip) of Weir, KS and Christina Smith (Brian) of Wellington, KS; his grandchildren, Kale Cunningham (Chelsea) of Webb City, MO, Riley Cunningham (Jill) of Joplin, MO, Bryce Smith (Laura Seeber) of Manhattan, KS, Miranda Belt (Joshua) of Wellington, KS, Brayden Smith (Ashley) of Hays, KS, Cy Smith of Manhattan, KS and Mercy Smith of Wellington, KS; his great grandchildren, Colton, Aiden Cunningham, Ella Smith and Valerie Belt; his sister Mary Hoffman of Kansas City, MO; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Jacobs of Oswego, KS and Johnny A. Jacobs of Parsons, KS.
