She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Eckles and Beatrice Eckles (Schertz); her husband William Hevel (Bill); and her son John William Hevel. She is survived by: her children, Michael Hevel (Cindy) of Waverly, KS, Susan Souders (Buddy) of Altamont, KS and Laura Kaiser (Larry) of Plano, TX; her sister Luella Paine of Bartonville, TX; and her grandchildren, Michael Hevel, Ray Fisk, Josh Hevel, Matt Hevel, Sondra Hall, Daphne Flores, Macey Foster, Emily Freeman and Erin Hecker.
The family suggests memorials to either the Oswego Christian Church or the American Red Cross.
