He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Steven and Wilma Lee Vaughn (Griffith); his son Stanley "Bud" Vaughn Jr.; and his siblings, Johnny Vaughn, Clyde Vaughn and Katherine Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Maxine Pennington; his daughter Katherine "Kate" Modesitt (Travis); his siblings, Jesse Vaughn of Vinita, OK, Willis Steven Vaughn of Freemont, MI and Patsy Russell of Chelsea, OK; his grandchildren, William Lee Modesitt, Adrian Nichole Wilson and Blake Modesitt; and his great grandchildren, Amelia, William, Charles and Travis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gideons International, the VFW, and Wounded Warriors.
