He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanie Coons; and his siblings, Eldo, Jr. (Bud), Cecil, Charles and Meldred Brown.
He is survived by: his parents, Eldo Jess Coons and Ruby Lloyd Coons (Allison); his sons, Steven of Port Aransas, TX, Kenneth of Dell City, TX and Gregg of Norco, CA; and his sister Roberta Bentley of Oswego, Kansas.
