She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Shanks and Birdie Belle Shanks. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Wertz; her sons, Eric Wertz of Galena, KS and Toby Wertz (Chelsea) of Oswego, KS; and her grandsons, William and Wade Wertz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
