She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Stapleton and Marchie Stapleton (Sprouse); her husband Joseph Villegas; and her siblings, Ruby Strickland, Leo Stapleton, Guy Stapleton, Chester Stapleton, Irene Hale, Martha Testerman and Rachel Nance.
She is survived by: her brother George Stapleton; her daughters, Beverly McDowell (Stewart) and Sharon Jinks; and her granddaughters, Kimberly Kinley (Casey) and Debbie Stewart. She is also survived by three great-grandsons and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oswego Christian Church (11048 US-59, Oswego, KS 67356). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
