With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Sue Schenker (Oswego, Kansas), who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Karen Sue farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Karen Sue is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gentry Farrell and Georgia Lucille Farrell (Miller); and her spouse Billie "Bill" Ray Schenker. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin (Cherie) of McCune, KS, Kent (Jennifer) of Oswego, KS, Kyle (Amy) of Harrisonville, MO and Kraig of Oswego, KS.; her brother Roger Farrell of Butler, Missouri.; and also David Symm.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St Paul Lutheran Church (522 5th St, Oswego, KS 67356). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Paul's Lutheran Church. Keep Karen's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
