He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Eugene and Mary Elizabeth Mercer (Dickenson). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Louise Getmen; and his children, Doug Mercer (Darlene) of Sherman City, KS and Judy (Doug) of Weir, KS. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
