We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2024, at the age of 83, Gary Phillips of Oswego, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Phillips and Mildred Phillips (Hulen); and his siblings, Jack Phillips Jr., Emmett Phillips, Freda Newcomb and Nancy Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Sharolyn Jane Graham; his children, Gary Andrew Phillips (Debbie) of Webb City, MO, Molly Wright of Independence, KS, Lori Holt (Gregg) of Columbus, KS and Cindy Dill (Mark) of Independence, KS; his grandchildren, Diane Shelly (Jonny), David Phillips (Rachel), Sarah Phillips (Faith), Gary Holt (Amanda), Amanda Holt (Shelby), Matthew Wright, Andrew Dill and Berea Dill; and his great grandchildren, Joel Shelly, Paige Shelly, Gentry Holt, Eleanor Holt, Oakley Wright, Asher Wright, Savannah Phillips, Lucas Phillips and Addison Phillips.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Derfelt Funeral Home - Oswego (203 Illinois St, Oswego, KS 67356). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
