With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank W. Gilliland of Oswego, Kansas, born in Columbus, Kansas, who passed away on September 24, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah "Grove" Gilliland and Aileen Gilliland (Farmer); his wife Virgie Gilliland (Boyles); his aunt Juanita; and his uncle Frank Smirl.
He is survived by: his daughters, Frankie Box (Roger) of Columbus, KS and Dawn Gilliland of Oswego, KS; his sister Beverly Johnson of Wray, CO; and his grandchildren, Ashley Argabright (Josh), Mark Hopkins II, Shawna Gilliland-Root, Tess Youngblood (Skyler), Benjamin Root, Brandy Hopkins and Wyatt Diediker. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
