It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene Elizabeth Hackathorn (Oskaloosa, Kansas), who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wilbur and Mary Estochen James; her daughter Darlinda Hackathorn; her brothers, John W. James, Jr. and David James; and her great grandchild Brileigh Jess Jolly.
She is survived by: her husband Denzil DeWayne Hackathorn; and her children, John DeWayne Hackathorn (Susie), Denzil "Denny" Lynn Hackathorn (Kathy) and Marlene Cheryl Jolly (David). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lecompton United Methodist Church or the Lawrence Humane Society and sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box 602, Oskaloosa, KS.
