He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphy Adam and Eva Cyr Adam; his wife Grace May Swaim; his son Bruce Adams; his granddaughters, Taylor Rae Parsons and Haley Cleveland; and his siblings, Kenneth Adams, Ted Adams, Harlan Adams, Luke Adams, Gary Adams, Dewetta Peterson and Betty Campbell.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Adams (Jo) of Oskaloosa, Kevin Adams (Julie) of Oskaloosa, Wade Adams of Oskaloosa, Pat Cress (Gary) of Oskaloosa, Mary Katherine "Kathy" Adams of Oskaloosa, Janette Adams of Oskaloosa, Teresa Holz (Steven) and Stephanie Taylor (Terrence Lavallee) of Round Rock, TX; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Adams. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
