He was predeceased by: his parents, David Samuel and Ruth Naomi Mills Woodard; his wife Doris June Smith; his son David Samuel Woodard; and his siblings, Edith Gorden, Earl Woodard and Cecil Woodard.
He is survived by: his daughter Delores "June" Woodard. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Barnett Family Funeral Home (1220 Walnut St, Oskaloosa, KS 66066).
