We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2024, at the age of 82, Gladys Neomi Capesius of Oskaloosa, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orla N. Detrick-Potter and Irene Detrick-Potter; her husband Gary Aloysius Capesius; and her siblings, Jackie Potter, Carl Potter, Gene Potter, Thomas Abramovitz, Raymond Abramovitz, Ralph Abramovitz, Mary Peters, Goldie Knudsen and Mary Heintzelman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Newell (Dean) of Oskaloosa and Patty Hamm (John) of Oskaloosa; and her sisters, Florence Courtney and Betty Harmon of Bellville, PA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
