He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Turner and Lola E. Turner (Taylor); and his wife Norma J. Whaling. He is survived by: his children, Mitchel of San Antonio, TX, Michael (Richelle) of Kansas City, MO and Marty Gaston (Troy) of Apex, NC; his stepsons, Dave, Tim and Philip Oelke; and his sister Georgia 'Jo' Marxer (Dean) of Costa Mesa, CA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren.
