She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Wood and Myra Wood; her husband Glenn Cooper; her son Gary; her daughter-in-law Erema; her brothers, Doyle, Norris, Olin, Orin and Arvin; her half-brothers, Pat and Mike; her sisters, Cenith Cowing and Carol Rogers; and her half-sisters, Evelyn Nesbitt and Pauline Foster.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry (Martha) of Ponca City, OK and Lynn (Carol) of Osborne, KS; her brothers, Arden of Weymouth, MA and Loy of Liberty, MO; her grandchild Chris Cooper (Charlene); and her stepgrandchildren, Tammy, Jimmy and Mandy. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 7 step great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rentschler Family Mortuaries Osborne Chapel (238 N 1st St, Osborne, KS 67473). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the United Christian Church (209 N 2nd St, Osborne, KS 67473).
