He is survived by: his wife Tonya Leapheart; his children, Christopher Byers of Germany, Aleah, Reanna, Awnesty and Kardell Byers; and his siblings, Bob Byers of Lawrence, Rick Byers (Kelly) of Olathe, Betty Jo Yilla (Abraham) of Sierra Leone, Africa, Carol L Bell of Decatur, IL and Ella L. Lane (Gary) of Kansas City, Kansas. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
