It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Byrd of Osawatomie, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Kansas, who passed away on June 8, 2022, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Michael Jewell. He is survived by: his mother Jacque Byrd (Rankin) of Paola; his wife Amanda Hale; his children, DeAnna Gaston, Brandon Hedrick, Dahrma Byrd, Wyatt Hedrick, Della Byrd and Benjamin Byrd; his mother-in-law Terry Hale of Osawatomie; and his siblings, Bryan Byrd of Overland Park and Crystal Byrd of Overland Park. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
