She was predeceased by: her brother Bill Chitwood; and her son James David. She is survived by: her brother John Chitwood (Marty) of Barrington, RI; her daughter Anne-Marie Short (Steve) of Lansing, KS; her grandchildren, Zachary, George, Katie and John; her great grandchild Makayla; and also, David, Sam and Nick. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
