He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Stecklein and Catherine Stecklein (Wasinger); and his siblings, Richard Wasinger, Donald Stecklein, Elmer Stecklein, Ronald Stecklein, Delores Dreher and Rosie Koerner.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Stecklein (Brooke) of Olathe, KS, Angela Hampson (Nick) of Osawatomie, KS, Doug Stecklein (Dawn) of Olathe, KS and Will Stecklein (Jennifer) of Spring Hill, KS; his sisters, Charlene Weigel (Dennis) of Gorham, KS and Theresa Gottschalk of Hays, KS; and his sister-in-law Linda Stecklein. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and other family and many friends.
