She was predeceased by: her father Edwin Gillette; and her sister Alice McDaniel. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Grace Giger (Willey) of Elmdale, Kansas; her husband Robert "Bob" D. Whitehead; her daughters, Chellie (Jeff Brady), Lisa (Bobby Berbiglia) and Lori (Brian Glenski); her grandchildren, Ashton, Riley, Shelby, Tanyon, Beatrice, Vivien and Ayden; her siblings, Alan Giger and Debbie Irby; and her brother-in-law Mike McDaniel.

Memorials may be made to De Soto United Methodist Church.
