She was predeceased by: her parents, Ardith Horttor and Eva Jo Horttor (Klopp); her husband Merwin Brooks Rice; her granddaughter Madison Rice; and her siblings, Carl Horttor and Evalyn Stites.
She is survived by: her children, James Rice (Andrea) of Nampa, ID, Aaron Rice (Angel) of Linn Valley, KS and Angela Weiss (Chuck) of Lebo, KS; her grandchildren, Austin Weiss (Ashleigh), Misty Weiss, Dylan Rice (Addie), Colton Rice, Nichole Rice and Conrad Rice; her great grandchild Theodore Weiss; and her siblings, Dee Horttor (Kathleen) of Blue Mound and Carol Cowel (Delbert) of Valley Center, Kansas. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
