He is survived by: his sons, Bruce Gardner (Donna) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Kent Gardner (Carol) of Topeka, Rick Gardner (Dena) of Osage City and Jeff Gardner of Osage City; and his close friend Patty Nelson. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
