He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Milton McClung and Vera McClung (Stephens); his spouse Iris C. Gillaspy; his children, Pamela Steverson of Topeka, Shari Thompson of Topeka, Tricia Turner of Topeka, Lonnie McClung of Wellsville and Brad McClung of Topeka; and his brother Richard "Dick" McClung of Eudora, Kansas. He was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
