With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. McConnell of Osage City, Kansas, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on October 15, 2020 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd McConnell and Gladys Horstman McConnell; and his brother Jim McConnell. He is survived by: his former wife Velma Delaney; his sons, Jeremiah McConnell (Holly) of Osage City, Dr. Malachi O'Brien (Rachel) of Peculiar and Eli O'Brien of Wichita; his siblings, Larry McConnell (Deb) of Albuquerque and Jackie McDonald of Chanute; and his grandchildren, Austin McConnell, Grace O'Brien, Elijah O'Brien, Josiah O'Brien and Ella-Kate O'Brien.
