He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Steinle and Anna Steinle; and his sister Heide Cramer. He is survived by: his wife Janet Whalen; his daughters, Kim Ewing of Manhattan and Leslie Weishaar (Martin) of Topeka, Kansas; his grandchildren, Dane Boyd of Manhattan, Audrey Davis (Jesse) of Honolulu, Louis Weishaar (Sydney Ho) of Topeka and Avery Weishaar of Topeka; and his great grandchild Atley Davis. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
