He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Metzger and Julia Metzger (Meyer); and his son Darryl Metzger. He is survived by: his wife Betty Locher; his children, Mark Metzger, Steven Metzger (Liz) and Marilyn Wiegand (Stanley); his grandchildren, Naomi Stillwell (Kyle), Joel Wiegand and Simon Wiegand; and his sisters, Willa Steiner (James) and Marge Metzger.
