It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Comer of Onaga, Kansas, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Jefferson and Julia Lois Awtry Comer; his grandfather James Woody Awtry; his wife Janice L. Harder; his brother James Michael "Mickey" Corcoran; his children, James Michael "Mickey" Comer (Emily) and Lynda Catherine "Katie" Comer King (Adam); and his sisters, Lynda Walker (Chuckie) of Wilmington, NC, Mary Corcoran of Wilmington, NC and Patricia Smith (Lou) of Wilmington, NC. He was also cherished by three grandchildren.
