It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Fern Abitz Loughmiller of Onaga, Kansas, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Abitz and Jessie Day Abitz; her husband Max W. Loughmiller of Luke's Lutheran Church; and her brothers, Frank Abitz and Roger Abitz.
She is survived by: her children, Lucas Loughmiller (Katie) and Mitzi Loughmiller of Harahan, LA; her siblings, Erma Kufahl and Gene Abitz (Ann); her siblings-in-law, Verla Harding and Roland Martin of Blue Springs, MO; and her granddaughter Stella Zoe Loughmiller.
